50 billion Francs CFA worth of Tramadol and two other hard drugs caught by Cameroon Customs under routine control at Douala Sea Ports.
These banned substances were “miraculously” caught when the Minister of Finance, Minister of Health, Governor of the Littoral and other dignitaries by happenstance were in Douala.
Coincidence? It is possible, but knowing the modus operandi of our authorities, I will not give them the benefit of the doubt.
First element of doubt: They claim the culprits have vanished. HOW?
Where was the SGS when such a bargaining was loaded into the vessel? When did the Customs discover and calibrate the loot? 50 billion is not in the vicinity of Awarawara Abriba Smoogri territory. Let them tell us what the heck is going on. I am having difficulties gulping their coolaide abracadabra langua.

Breaking News gathered that on 20 February 2026, Cameroonian customs authorities conducted a major drug seizure at Aéroport International de Douala, not at Douala Sea Ports, where they seized cargo included:
about 1 057 kg of cocaine, about 1 434 kg of tramadol, totalling roughly 2 491 kg (nearly 2.5 tonnes) of illicit drugs.
The estimated street value of this haul was reported at around 90 million USD (≈50 billion FCFA).
The seizure involved tramadol (an opioid painkiller often diverted to illegal markets) and cocaine, which is a well-established hard drug. It was carried out at the international airport — there is no credible report of a 50 billion FCFA drug seizure at Douala sea port from major reputable sources right now at the disposal of Breaking News.
The figure of 50 billion FCFA refers to the approximate value of the airport seizure, not specifically a port seizure.
Cameroonian authorities, including the Ministry of Finance, publicly announced the airport operation as one of the largest drug seizures in the country’s history, highlighting customs’ efforts to halt trafficking.
