Cameroon Military: Army General contests forceful retirement
General Tchemo Hector, who was forcefully sent on retirement through a press release read on CRTV on 29 July 2026, has rejected the said decree, questioning its source.
The General, who is said to have continued with his duties today as normal, is said to have questioned Biya’s Health condition during a private meeting. That seems to have provoked the decision by “whosoever” to send him on forced retirement
