A new biography celebrating the life and career of veteran Cameroonian journalist Peter Essoka will be launched Sept. 16 at the Ministry of Communication in Yaoundรฉ.
Titled Peter Essoka: The Venerated Voice, the biography was written by Dr. Ashu Nyenty and will be presented at an event that also serves as a tribute to Essokaโs distinguished career in journalism and public service.
The book features a foreword by Fรฉlix Mbayu, a postface by former Prime Minister Philemon Yang, and a tribute by Charles Ndongo, director general of CRTV.
Essoka is expected to attend the ceremony.
The launch is scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2026, at the auditorium of the Ministry of Communication in Yaoundรฉ.
