Media: Combating Hate Speech, Disinformation NCC meets Journalists in Douala
The National Communication Council – NCC meets Journalists in Douala for the 5th edition of its Coffee, kicked off April 28 in Douala, in the presence of the President of the National Communication Council, Joseph Chebongkeng Kalabubse, accompanied by the Regional Delegate of Communication for the littoral. As campaigns for the October Presidential election are expected soon, the event, held on April 28-29, 2025, enabled different speakers to address the following key topics: Professional moderation of audiovisual debates; Combating hate speech in the media; Combating disinformation through social networks. La 5ème édition des Cafés du CNC a débuté ce 28 avril à Douala, en présence du Président du Conseil National de la Communication, Joseph Chebongkeng Kalabubse, accompagné par Mme le délégué régional de la Communication pour le Littoral. L’événement qui se tient les 28 et 29 avril 2025, permettre aux différents intervenants d’aborder les thèmes suivants : La modération professionnelle des débats audiovisuels; La lutte contre les discours de haine dans les médias; La lutte contre la désinformation à travers les réseaux sociaux.
