The fake coup was detected by many of us who knew exactly what was going on.
It was clear to the majority of political observers that Embalo, two years ago, after the National Assembly elections where his party was destroyed by the opposition PAIGC and others, couldn’t possibly win a re-election in 2025, if the elections were free and fair.
What Embale did was to announce that he will not run, but his heart is so dark, so criminal, that he can’t bear to see himself hand over power to a leader that the people of Guinea-Bissau want. He wanted to manipulate his exit. He delayed the elections, and then he announced that he wanted to run, knowing fully well that he had no hope in hell of winning a re-election. He had no chance of winning re-election, and stealing the election for a second time would be quite obvious. So, what did he devise? A second plan.
Here comes the plot – Plan B:
Embalo knew a long time ago that he would not win, so Plan B was hatched with his fellow gang members in uniform and various places. He decided that in the likely scenario of his loss, he would deny PAIGC, the party he knew would win or influence the winner, their return to power by orchestrating a schoolboy palace coup d’etat. It was so pathetic that it didn’t take 10 minutes after its announcement for people to see its ass like that of an ostrich.
Without fail, his Plan B was activated soon after learning that he lost 7 out of 9 regions of Guinea-Bissau 🇬🇼. I personally knew something was going to happen, and that’s why I didn’t announce Fernando Dias Da Costa as the winner even though many reports stated that he won with a landslide. I knew the shady character that Embalo was wasn’t going to allow a smooth transfer of power back to PAIGC. The military will cover up Embalo’s dirty work, but PAIGC will not.
So, to leave power but keep his misdemeanours concealed, forfeiting Dias da Costa’s win seemed attractive, and he couldn’t resist the temptation of stealing the election from the people of Guinea-Bissau.🇬🇼
Either way, Embalo stole one election, and is attempting to steal a second, but this time, his plan was as elementary as they come, and it didn’ECOWAS ParliamentcAfrican Union United elementary as ABC in primary school.
ECOWAS Parliament, African Union United Nations must ensure that the wishes of the people of Guinea-Bissau are fulfilled.
Dias da Costa is the people’s choice, not Embalo’s installed military gangsters. The military must hand over power to the elected officials immediately.
