A TOTAL OF 81 CANDIDATES VIE FOR PRESIDENTIAL RACE IN CAMEROON
A total of 81 Cameroonians have submitted their files for the presidential election.
This is more than three times the figure of 2018, where 28 individuals initially submitted their application files for the 2018 presidential election in Cameroon, but the electoral body, ELECAM, only approved 9 candidates to stand in the election. The rest were rejected for various reasons, such as not meeting the required endorsement criteria or other legal stipulations.
Files like those of the men in these picture would be easily rejected because one said, the state was owing him, they should subtract 30M frs from the amount they owed him, Presidential shoes, should be another file to be rejected, because, his file was incomplete and Mr Presidential, Farmer, PTA part time teacher, just another example.
