Are Military Coups a Panacea for African Development?

The multiple Coups d’états in Nigeria using the General Abacha specific Regime as a case study, as opposed to other Civilian Dictators who have destroyed the very fabric of their nations’ economies.

Have African Civilian Dictators faired any better with their gelogenic sanguinolent “Government for us, our family and friends, by us camouflage” improved the lives of their citizenry as opposed to the Abacha Military style “Brute Force will produce desired results”.

Methinks the Military has been better off for Nigeria than the suit-and-agbwada-wearing Lawyers, Doctors, and PhD so-called leaders.
