On January 8, 2025, the President of the National Assembly, Cavaye Yegue Djibril, officially named the new parliamentary headquarters “Palais des Verres Paul Biya”. This announcement comes just 48 hours before the New Year’s ceremony for the head of state. The new building, located in the Ngoa-Ekelle neighborhood of Yaoundé, was inaugurated on November 30, 2024, and is a symbol of modernity and development.
