Joshua Osih says: Only a United Anglophone can take over Cameroon after 65 years of Francophone rule
The SDF National Chairman has admonished that unless Anglophones from the North West and the South West regions are united, fight with one voice as one people, then we can have an Anglophone president in Cameroon, adding that Francophones have ruled for the past 65 years, and they have drastically reduced Cameroon’s economy to a mess.
Osih lamented that Ahidjo from the north and Biya from the south. Neither Biya nor Ahidjo have developed this country in any way or shape. Our road network, electricity, water supplies and our educational systems are still very rudimentary and poorly developed because of these two francophone presidents, Ahidjo and Biya.
Surprisingly, he went on, some Anglophones are still blaming Joshua Osih for not forming a coalition with Tchiroma, a third Francophone and former minister of Biya. This is the worst thing I have ever heard from Anglophones who claim they are marginalized in Cameroon.
Unless NW and SW unite and stop the division between them, we will never have an Anglophone president or talk less of separation. An Anglophone president in Cameroon comes from either the NW or SW regions. Such a president must speak English as his or her first language. The time is ripe. Only an English-speaking president in Cameroon can develop this Nation into an emergence Nation. A third Francophone president, or the so-called devil you know, so Tchiroma is a big mistake that should not be allowed to repeat itself.
Therefore, I call on all Anglophones to put tribalism aside and join Chairman Joshua Osih to fight for an Anglophone president in Cameroon until his term or mandate of chairmanship expires.
Without that, we are bound to be marginalized and become slaves in our own country of birth.
