The Sahel nations are making history across the continent of Africa

The Sahel nations are making history across the continent of Africa compared to ECOWAS, which has been there for decades doing nothing.

Imagine, in just the span of two years, AES has gone ahead and launched its new TV station that will boost regional communication among the three nations: Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger.
They have also launched their confederal bank worth 900 million US dollars. They went ahead and deployed more than 5,000 strong unified forces among these three nations—a strong military force. This has been one of the greatest dreams of the late Muammar Gaddafi: a borderless Africa.
The Sahel nations have achieved a single passport. You can see one bank, one system, one everything among these nations. When we come to ECOWAS, there is no TV station, no sovereign bank, no unified force—there is nothing that ECOWAS has actually achieved despite decades of existence in that organization.
