This is the voice of Ambazonia. Truth in resistance, clarity in crisis.
Today is Tuesday, August 19th, 2025.
Today’s commentary is titled Anglophone stupidity, hypocrisy or naivety. Fellow Ambazonians, greetings. Across the world today, people are talking about Russia and Ukraine.
Many so-called Anglophones raise their voices condemning Russia for invading and annexing Ukrainian territory. But pause for a moment. Is this not exactly what La Repubblique du Cameroun did to us, the people of Southern Cameroons? History is clear.
On January 1st, 1960, Cameroon became independent with its boundaries fixed. Yet, on September 30th, 1961, those boundaries were crossed over to our homeland, the Southern Cameroons, and annexed. What followed was not unity, but occupation.
Not independence, but subjugation. So why do you condemn Russia? Why condone what was done to you? Why weep for Ukraine? Why ignore Ambazonia? Ukrainians defend their ancestral homeland with courage and sacrifice. Meanwhile, your ancestral soil, the graves of your forefathers, are being desecrated.
Your villages are being erased. And your very identity is being dissolved. Just as the genocidal ideologues of yesteryear once boasted, comparing Southern Cameroons to sugar cubes meant to disappear.
Let us not deceive ourselves. If we do not rise in defence of our homeland, we will one day wake to find that Ambazonia has been wiped off the map of the world. Ukrainians fight because they know the truth.
Without a homeland, there is no future. Ambazonians must learn the same lesson. Our struggle is not about others.
It is about us, our land, our dignity, and our survival. This has been the voice of Ambazonia. Truth and resistance, and clarity in crisis.
