SDF BAMENDA II REGIONAL CONVENTION

After months of renewed political activity under its “Operation Take Back Bamenda” campaign, the Social Democratic Front (SDF) is convening a Strategic Regional Convention in Bamenda this Saturday, 4 July, bringing together divisional coordinators, NEC and NAC members from across the North West Region.

The meeting, to be chaired by the Regional Chairperson and Bamenda III Mayor Fongu Cletus Tanwe, is expected to assess the party’s organisational strength, strengthen grassroots structures and prepare for upcoming elections.

With the SDF recently returning its NEC meetings to Bamenda after years of conflict-induced relocation, political observers are watching closely to see whether the party’s efforts to reclaim its traditional stronghold will now expand across the wider North West Region.
