REST IN PEACE: Pastor, wife and their two children among eight killed in tragic crash

A pastor and his wife, a church couple, their two children and a family member are among eight people who died in a head-on collision on the N17 near the Ermelo Toll Plaza in Mpumalanga early on Sunday morning.

The group was travelling back to Johannesburg after attending a church ordination in Manguzi, KZN. Seven people were in one vehicle. The driver of the other car also died.

Those identified so far include Pastor Nhlabathi and his wife Dumisile, Dumisane Sithole, his wife Pinky and their two children, and Cora Mambonambi Simelane.

The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
