According to sources close to the Élysée Palace, the current French head of state has reportedly ordered Paul Biya, the loser of the 2025 Cameroonian presidential election, to resolve his differences with Issa Tchiroma Bakary, the winner.
Faced with this injunction, Paul Biya is said to have tasked Grégoire Owona and Henry Eyebe Ayissi with doing everything possible, including appointing other special advisors.
More than 10 ministerial posts, positions within the state apparatus, and ambassadorial posts around the world are being offered.
Issa Tchiroma rejects the offer and demands that Paul Biya acknowledge his defeat and vacate the seat he is occupying by force.
