REMEMBER THE NGARBUH MASSACRE

REMEMBER THE NGARBUH MASSACRE

February 14th is the anniversary of the Ngarbuh massacre. One of many massacres carried out by government forces across the southern Cameroons – Ambazonia. On this day and in the depths of the night, Biya’s regime forces descended upon Ngarbuh. What followed was another grim, senseless massacre where babies, some just one month old, women, some pregnant, were butchered in their sleep and buried in makeshift graves. It must be recalled that the Ngarbuh massacre was just one in a series of murderous rage against unarmed civilians across the region. The Pinyin massacre, the Kumba massacre, the Kwakwa massacre, the Mautu massacre, the Ndu massacre under the disreputable Oben Ashy as SDO, and many others. This gruesome act of human cruelty does not include isolated cases where school children were either shot for sport or raped and tortured. The Biya regime must be held accountable for not only attempting to exterminate a people but for doing so with glee and a stunning degree of human cruelty, last witnessed by the world during Hitler’s Nazi regime.
