Cameroon -Russia , Yaoundé confirms the death of 16 of its citizens in Ukraine

The Cameroonian Minister  Delegate to the Ministry of Foreign Relations (MINREX) has officially received the note from the Russian Embassy indicating the death of 16 Cameroonian contract soldiers in the special military operation area. Yaoundé says it has made arrangements to contact the families, while 02 radio releases published on April 06, 2026, call for the relatives of 22 additional nationals to express urgency.
