THE GCE LEAKAGE IS A BAD OMEN FOR CAMEROON.

THE GCE LEAKAGE IS A BAD OMEN FOR CAMEROON.

In good countries where the future of the children is sacred, heads should have rolled by now because of the examination scandal. Imagine that children are traumatized about their future while elders are making speeches instead of taking drastic measures. Examination is war on ignorance, as military intervention against terrorism is war against threats to sovereignty.  If the government is so fast in deploying soldiers to attack protesting civilians, why can’t the very government disburse money for the fast reprint of new questions while tracking down the culprit? This is an emergency issue. YET THE SILENCE IN THE UPPER CORRIDOR OF POWER IS ELOQUENT TO THE CRITIC. I saw it coming when the GCE Board was turned into a parastatal, and no one complained.  The suddenly mysterious death of the last Registrar and the shadows of a semi-permanent transition of a registrar gnawed at Common Sense. How and when did cynicism crawl into the English-speaking Cameroonian Classroom? Who tends to gain what if the GCE IS destroyed? As it went with the CDC goose, let it not go with the GCE gander. The enemy sneaked in behind the curtains and took us off guard. Being the last jewel in Cameroon’s Anglo-Saxon crowd, the Cameroon GCE IS NOT FOR SALE. I wrote this examination. My grandchildren and great-grandchildren must write it. LET THE TRUE TEACHER AND THE TRUE PARENT GET READY TO SACRIFICE HIS OR HER POLITICAL IDEOLOGY AND SAVE OUR COMMON HERITAGE
