Accusations of Deceit and Fraud Tarnish CBC Leadership

Accusations of Deceit and Fraud Tarnish CBC Leadership

DECRYING THE CBC EXECUTIVE PRESIDENT’S EXCESSIVE MANIPULATION, DECEIT, LIES-TELLING, ILLEGAL COLLECTION OF FUNDS FROM INSTITUTIONS DURING VISITS AND CHURCH CEREMONIES/EVENTS

Since Dr. Nditemeh Charlemagne took over as CBC Executive President (EP), his regrettable actions have seriously damaged the Cameroon Baptist Convention’s reputation. These acts have also brought to light the EP’s terrible crisis management and leadership weaknesses. In his frequent outbursts, the EP has revealed a great lot about his weak leadership. He might easily pass as a great example of a bad leader when it comes to managing change and crisis.
Unfortunately, despite these ignominious displays, he has remained very gifted when it comes to preaching lies, falsehoods, provoking emotions, and making absurd promises to make Christians and his audience at large to jump with delight. Christians will soon come to terms with who the real Rev. Dr. Nditemeh is after he would have accomplished his destructive agenda.
Excellent or Christian leadership can be measured, as the Bible teaches us, against a few principles which are especially self-control, humility, honesty, forgiveness, truthfulness, and love, to name just a few. The phrase “by their fruits you shall know them” nicely concludes this. While Christians choose to be delirious about the dreams of a wonderland as painted by this EP daily and his spews of lies, Christians should remember that a good tree is only known by the kind of fruits it yields.
What historical achievements does the present CBC EP has to show for to make Christians and CBC employees trust his promises for a better church system and employee conditions? What is his relationship with all those around him as we know or his ability to lead even a group as tiny as his nuclear family? What friends does he have for as you know, its popularly said “show me your friends and I will tell what kind of person you are”. In his specific case, he has none and has been unable to attract and keep anyone around! Sadly, even the ability to relate well with his collaborators is lacking. Does it mean everyone else around the EP is bad but him? About his professional life. What can the present EP show for as achievement in his leadership positions so far in the Baptist convention? Was he exemplary as a Christian then or even now?

Even as EP, has any Christian ever bordered or dared to ask about his church life? Or is being EP now become a qualification as a superscaled Christian? Well, our news desk has taken time to investigate into the lives of the main protagonists and events involved in the ongoing CBC saga and we will use this publication to bring to the public truths or revelations that will make you jump. Our intention is primarily to deconstruct the many lies that the EP has been spreading all this while. Regrettably, our attempts to get some of the people being accused to speak publicly to clear the mess has been futile this far. Most of them continue to play the good Christians wanting to protect and preserve the good name of the church by absorbing the blows from the EP in silence. At the same time, the EP whose mission was never the church in first place, but a money-making job opportunity, does not care and is going on unstopably with his smear campaigns for a re-election. In the process, he is manipulating and intoxicating the minds
of naïve Christians, especially those in rural settings.
In this independent investigation, we found out that the only fruit well-known to Rev. Nditemeh ever since converting from Muslim to the Baptist faith has been chaos and destruction wherever he passed or whatever he laid his hands on. So why are Christians of the CBC who know and acknowledge this truth about this scammer-pastor not willing to put an end to this madness he is perpetrating in the church of God? The answer to this question as we have investigated, lies in the fact that the CBC EP intimidates and is known to be mean to the extent that he can publicly fight and so Christians only talk behind his back. After all, he has a good history when it comes to fighting and or even publicly abusing his subordinates. By these fruits, it should surprise no one therefore that all that the EP may end up achieving is bringing dishonor to the once-holy position of CBC EP.
In all honesty, the CBC EP has only ever demonstrated throughout that he is a terrible leader. This includes in all spheres of life. He has never succeeded to build any meaningful network—social or otherwise. He has failed to be an exemplary father and husband. This is an open secret just as Christians also know that their EP has anger issues.
As EP, he has on many occasions (we learned) cited the purchase of a school in Bafoussam and the construction of market sheds at mile 3 Nkwen as his early accomplishments in his function as EP. What Christians may not know is that these are projects that have been fully funded with Bank loans which the CBC is still uncertain about repayment given that, the EP rather than spend time to strategize about how to create new funding sources and establishing fruitful partnerships, has
instead invested in creating division and conflicts within the convention. We learned of the significant role that the Health Services especially Prof. Tih played to enable he, EP even get the loan to acquire that facility but dishonesty will not allow a fake man of God of his specie to admit this in public.
Looking at the caliber of Baptist Christians and past leaders who so far condemned the move by the EP, it should baffle any onlooker that Christians remain naïve, mute and passive – unable ton see the danger signs and to apply necessary speed bumps.
Instead, a lot of naïve Christians are made to react to his delusions because so far the EP and his camp have remained the only ones, within the church, that are authorized to speak on these issues. They use every avenue and opportunity (as we have leaned), to propagate their version of events – their tinted narrative which gullible Christians believe to be truth. Every other voice that speaks up to provide a different perspective is met with stigma, threats of suspension from the church or excommunication, or bribed into silence including with promises of jobs and positions. For fear of contradiction, the EP has rejected all calls for a free and transparent discourse and ruined any opportunities for Christians to voice their grievances and opinions about the recent decisions by the congregational principle of the church. Consequently, the Christians and the public at large have been left with nothing but half-truths (lies), largely in favor of the EP.
We are told, the EP is acting more like a true conqueror and the only enlightened despot the church has ever known at the helm of the convention. To keep his game plan successful and beneficial to him, the CBC EP has set up machinery to extort money and to intimidate all those who could stand in the way of his secret agenda. Naïvely some Christians think that this EP is “another messiah” and that he is just being unfairly persecuted because he wants to bring change within the CBC. This is incorrect. An African proverb says “he who brings ants-infested-firewood to the house should be ready to deal with lizards”. In this particular circumstance, it is the Christians of the Baptist church who knew this EP so well from his reputation as an arrogant, manipulator, sweet-talker and pathetic liar, but still went ahead to raise him to the helm of the church that are to be blamed hile as Field Pastor in Yaounde, the people agonized and saw his being voted as EP as a good way to free themselves from his overbearing personality. We are told shortly after his induction when he visited Yaounde Field, he reminded the pastors that he knows they thought they were sending him away, but he is instead now at the top where he will deal with them. Threats from day one right up to this moment.
Also, one wonders what criteria was used to search someone like Rev Dr. Nditemeh for EP. He has no meaningful legacy that warranted his search for CBC EP in the first place. On the contrary, he trails with him a history that whatever he touched or got involved in was ever destroyed or fell into serious disorder. Rev. Dr. Nditemeh is thus the ants’ infested firewood that has now opened millions of cracks for lizards to find their way into this once peaceful church.
By these revelations, we want to underscore that from our independent investigations, the current turbulences in the CBC are as a result of two men only who are determined to have their will prevail by hook or crook. These are the present Chairman, Mr. Yosimbom Mkong John, and CBC EP, Rev. Dr. Nditemeh Charlemagne. These men have vowed to make sure they reconfigure the church and give it an apparel of a business enterprise where the EP will reign as supreme CEO milking Christians dry and dictating terror with all impunity.
Let it also be known that whatever agenda these two have, there are no signs that it is in the best interest of the church or God’s will. Any Christian who thinks otherwise is simply being sheepish and or having biased judgement. If the EP and Co were acting in the best interest of the church, they would:
• Make sure the CBC constitution forms the basis for all their actions. Instead without any regard for the CBC Constitution, these shrewd politicians created and are applying a document which they have been using deceptively in place of the Constitution. The argument this far has been that a large majority of Christians voted for the revised
constitution and it is it that they are applying. Mr. EP, as a student of law that you claim, you should normally know some of these basics in constitutional law. Procedures for a constitutional revision hitch on – who initiates the procedure, who makes suggestions into it, and which body (in nature and number) has the competence to enact the changes.
In this specific case, as we have seen from literature including an elaborate protest from the once CBC legal team, about 9 steps are required for a revision to be deemed legal. The expected composition of the body to enact the changes was also not respected. To ensure they navigate through their diabolic plans, the EP and Chairman carefully avoided to work the constitution from the churches, through the Fields and upward to the supreme organ of the church which is the General Session. Knowing that they may not go through with the plans by passing through a General Session with the right composition, these partners in crime found a way to create a mock GS through a fake and unconstitutional GS type styled “Exceptional Extraordinary General Session”. What does this even mean?

However, to give a face to this invented body, they hand-picked representatives who were well-schooled on what to do with the sole intention to give legitimacy to this piece of nonsense. The General Session of the CBC, we learned, is statutory and has a clear composition (in character and number) – clear quotas the number of youths, women, men
and clergy per church/per field so anything short of this falls short of legality. So, fellow Christians, it really does not matter whether over 800 Christians voted or not, all that matters is that those individuals did not have character nor competence to do so. That was a fictive body which the EP and partner in crime created to drive through their
plans.
Another truth that Christians need to know is that after this farce of a vote, the EP hurriedly jumped into the implementation of the document still being edited. Does it sound serious that a “draft document” self-styled Constitution of a serious church like the Baptist, not yet received by the competent government offices should already be implemented? It is time that concerned Christians admit that this EP is just the antsinfested-firewood that needs to be taken out of the house to avoid more damage!
• Non-reliance on Christian principles in resolving conflict. Even before becoming EP, it has always been the case. While he was field pastor in Yaoundé, we know how he managed the Dr. Nfor Philemon case and as EP, he resorted to start a court case against a brother and fellow Pastor, Rev. Sam Jato.
During his Field Pastorship in Yaoundé, we found out shockingly, that this EP had once handed a youth of the church to forces of law and order in Yaoundé on claims that he, the youth, was a Boko Haram following a misunderstanding that broke out in the church. Would you say someone that thinks and acts in this manner is anything near a Christian? Or someone that can give moral lessons to anyone? Or that can be regarded by anyone as a model? This EP is naturally evil and definitely in the wrong corp. Christians ought to be frank and stop trying to blame and curse those taking the bold move to point out his wrongs. And since he is known to be pathetically stubborn and will not heed any advice, in most cases, good intentioned Christian have left him to his faith. Shouldn’t the EP be an example of humility and spirituality and rely essentially on the practical steps in resolving conflicts as provided for in Matthew 18:15-17? It has been sadly realized that in all his visits to institutions which have become fundraising visits for him and opportunities to campaign for his next mandate, the EP spends practically the whole time castigating his collaborators and church leaders over the management of church affairs. This is indication that attention is now fully shifted from the gospel of Christ to other interests. In some of these visits, Christians noted that their EP will speak for hours without even citing a single bible reference. Should spreading the word of God not be the primary concern of a church leader? Instead in the case of Rev. Nditemeh, his primary concern is his next election and financial interests.
Now that he has succeeded to carve for himself a “caliphate”, something he could probably never have dreamt about when he was still in the Muslim faith, he is poised to make sure he wins his next mandate to reap all the benefits as planned. In this last hour, Rev. Nditemeh will stop at nothing to have this plan accomplished, even if it means destroying the church.
It will not be long before Christians come to term with what it means to have an all-powerful EP who can make and unmake, omnipresent and who can singlehandedly determine what constitutes sin and what does not. In fact, the EP has already started to do so. When that time comes, Christians will begin to pray for the coming of another Martin Luther King to come deliver them from the yoke of their own leader.
In the past, we are told, General Secretaries (now known as the Executive Presidents) used to remind Christians that the church belongs to them and not the pastor nor EP. But with this EP, it is the reverse. During this first mandate, he succeeded to deconstruct that reality about the real owners of the church. He made everyone see and accept him as he puts it “sole proprietor of all CBC institutions”.
What this means is technically that Rev. Nditemeh sees himself as a super CEO of a chain of enterprises ranging from Churches, schools, health facilities, programs, etc. Christians need to know that if he is allowed to arrogate to himself all these powers, the church will lose its congregational character whereby all decisions are taken or approved by Christians before they are implemented. Clear demonstration of this has already occurred. He recently suspended Christians who sued him to court over his abuses after trying in vain to intimidate and bribe them to withdraw the suit. This was done by passing over their church and fields pastors.
It remains critical that in the midst of all this confusion and misinformation, that we continue to investigate and share information that will make concerned Christians understand the depth of the matter at hand. In this edition, we chose to focus on the character of the man called Rev. Nditemeh. We seek to question his spirituality and commitment to the deep values upheld by the Baptist faith. We do this by examining what constitutes the character traits of his leadership. Let it go into history that, although Rev. Dr. Nditemeh eventually succeeded to attack and destroy the Baptist church, Christians were adequately warned but they decided to let him go through with his plans, out of fear.
Let’s now share with you what constitutes the core of Rev. Nditemeh leadership style.
1) Using intimidation
The primary leadership tool that Rev. Nditemeh has been known to use at all times in his leadership role has been intimidation. At this point, it has become evident to all leaders at every level of the convention that the EP has been gaining grounds using this. Christians and pastors are compelled to speak and do only things that further his cause. Targeted and portrayed as adversaries of the church are pastors and Christians who have the guts to stand up to the EP. Examples of this include the intimidation of the General Council members, who were coerced into endorsing a flawed constitution rather than holding a General Session to do so as the constitution requires. Members of the General Council, which is meant to act as the CBC’s watchdog have now lost all credibility and integrity for accepting such egregious manipulation of the organization’s charter.
The same members of the General Council expressed displeasure shortly after leaving the session saying they were coerced to legislate in place of the General session. Christian’s thoughts and opinions are even monitored including on all social media platforms. The EP and the Chairman feel happy anytime the EP’s actions are highlighted favorably. A good example is the men’s WhatsApp forum where the Men’s Director, who has now completely lost all credibility as a Church leader, makes sure that any posts that express opposing opinions are removed or the group is blocked to let only Administrators post. This implies that, the EP is the only one authorized to denounce and speak poorly about other Christians.
How condescending is it for a leader of this magnitude to be assuming administrator responsibilities in WhatsApp groups just to control the freedom of speech of Christians. For instance, on April 15, 2024, he deleted a member’s comment in support of the court case against him. The member was also kicked out of the group. When he is not doing so himself, he would manipulate the Men’s Director, his puppet, into altering the group’s configuration.
Who is really lying to whom? Is it better for lies to fear the truth, or the other way around? Christians need to understand that only a liar should be afraid to confront alternative views or to have a candid open conversation with their peers, except they have secrets.
2) Inciting staff and Christians against one another
As it has been the tradition ever since becoming EP, his official tours have little to offer but
sensational speeches to win the sentiments of ignorant Christians. Sensationalism is a political
communication tactics that only creates division as it consists only of rejecting any other person,
idea or opinion in favor of one’s own. Sensationalist in like of the EP usually bring no solution to
any problem apart from trying to give false hope to people. This explains why the EP has continually made unrealistic promises or adopted very controversial stands to the extent that his
sanity can be questioned, as some Christians are now doing.
Here are some of the sensational promises and stands during some of his campaign trails:
• During his recent visit to Yaoundé Field, he lied to staff that the current challenge the CBCHS is facing in paying salaries to its workers on time, is “artificially created” by its leaders to cause pain to staff. How can a leader condescend this low to making such allegations? How on earth can a leader of his caliber, “sole proprietor of all CBC institutions” that he is manipulate people this way? As sole proprietor of all CBC institutions is it not in his power to order the CBCHS leaders to deblock any money kept somewhere to make timely salary payments? Should a leader be focused on providing solution to problems or rather incite rebellion among staff? Well, let Christians know that the challenges of payment of salaries in the medical board only recently got worse because of the EP due to the following (as our investigation revealed):
– In spite of the difficult times brought on by the continuous crisis in the NOSO, CBCHS is among the few institutions that have been able to manage through without laying off staff. At the beginning of the crises (we noticed), Health Services leadership had mobilized finances through their staff and supported the payment of salaries for teachers of the Education Department. This to us is a mark of good faith which are not even mentioned in the midst of the ongoing drama. And as part of managing the situation in a context of the crisis, the Health service leaders are said to have notified staff that salaries will be slightly delayed to ensure systematic payment starting with hospital personnel. This has been going on smoothly until the EP recently obliged the Health Services to start making compulsory deposits of 10 million francs every week to his office account. This controversial move at a time when the department is struggling to stay afloat is testimony that this EP only cares about himself …. forget about the false pretense that he cares about other people especially the weak.
Christians ought to rather ask the EP what these weekly transfers of 10 million francs are meant for when the medical board already sufficiently makes its regular contributions to support the operations of the EP’s office. If he was honest, why did the EP not let the staff know that in essence he, EP, is partly the cause of this salary delay? Instead, he uses the opportunity to incite staff to revolt against their leaders by lying that they are being unfairly
paid. Salaries in Cameroon are negotiable and also dependent on the institution’s ability to pay provided the pay is not below the minimum wage for the country. Is the EP sure he can be able to deliver on his fancy campaign promises he is making to staff during his tour?
– It should also be known that as we speak, the EP has succeeded to set up a very effective and profitable machinery for receiving kickbacks including what is now known as the “EP’s Envelope” which he collects during his exaggerated visits to institutions and for presiding over Christian ceremonies/ or events. Although his travels are budgeted and sponsored from his office, the EP still compels stations he visits to give him the “EP’s Envelope”. For a pastor, hospital administrator, or school principal to be in his good or bad book, depends on how fat their “EP’s envelope” to him is. This envelope is also imposed and collected before he or his designee presides over any official ceremony such as Pastor’s ordination.
From these sources of kickbacks, he can be sure to finance his projects including the construction of his resthouse/hotel and establishment of agricultural activities. Have Christians ever stopped to wonder why the EP suddenly takes on responsibilities and tasks that were previously the responsibility of other church officials? Certain administrative, pastoral and principals’ functions are being systematically usurped by the EP. This has caused the Education Director as well as the Evangelism Director positions to become increasingly ceremonial. The EP now performs ordinations himself or through his designees and use those opportunities to insist and collect his envelope even before the ceremony and sometimes threaten the candidates with unfavorable outcomes if the envelope is not handed on time.
Unfortunately, some gullible Christians might think we are unfairly criticizing a divinely anointed man of God as we try to bring these facts to light. While it is true that the Bible commands us to pray for those in authority, including our churches pastors, what should we do if the leader’s fruits do not show that he is anointed or of God? We firmly believe that, despite our limited viewpoint, silence would not be the proper response in this kind of situation! Whatever may seem wrong right now, the objective will be to take action to protect God’s house. If we do nothing, we will be aiding the EP and gang in their attempt to destroy the Church the more. Delay is dangerous!
• During the same outing in Yaoundé, the EP also claimed that going forward staff working in projects within the CBCHS will be rotated from one project to another. We all know that this is not possible as project contracts or conventions have strict terms and often depend on many factors including donor exigencies. It is rather disgraceful for the EP to resort to such cheap blackmail in order to arouse the sentiments of workers. All along, we learned, the EP has been busy trying to incite workers of the medical board against their leaders by making fallacious promises, spewing lies and careless invectives to draw sympathy.
In a similar outing in Douala, he told casual workers and housekeepers that they were the least paid in the health services and promising them better pay. So sad that all these sensational speeches which are definitely aimed at sabotaging the good work that Prof. Tihand the team have done over the years will lead to quite serious consequences before long.
Already:
– Donors have begun to wonder about the security of their funds under a new leadership. This may have significant consequences on funding in the near future. By making these public pronouncements, the EP is indirectly communicating to the donor community that external funds are to be used to compensate people and not
necessarily to do the work.
– Another consequence of these childish remarks by this rather naive EP is that it will indirectly increase workers’ expectations from a new leadership. Staff will be making demands which the new leadership will be unable to fulfill because of real difficulties and this will inevitably result in an implosion.
– Finally, the EP is indirectly instilling a new work culture based on connections and money as main motivator. This is likely to increase staff turnover, blackmail, backbiting and witch hunting. Such a work environment will not produce any meaningful results.
• It is now widely acknowledged that the EP will instantly turn into a soft target, anyone that
associates with someone that does not support him. This is already causing divisions in schools, churches, and health institutions. We are told, even stopping to say “hello” to someone now in the Baptist center these days could become a major transgression and sign that someone’s integrity has been compromised. Sadly, some pastors sneak around in hiding doing all to avoid being seen or perceived to be associating with anybody in theopposite camp to the EP. How unfortunate that even pastors, who have dedicated their lives to promoting the qualities of harmonious coexistence and positive interpersonal relationships, would allow themselves to be used and reduced to playing this game of
building walls and maintaining cold conflicts.
3) Manipulation and misinformation of the public about recruitment
The EP frequently talks about hiring practices that are unjust and advocates for some form of regional balance in recruitment within CBC departments. This is acceptable, but the preacher doesn’t practice this very good virtue himself. Once more he preaches one thing and practices the opposite. We fell on many instances that confirm this and chose to share this one example with our readers.
Rev. Nditemeh’s wife worked as a social worker for CBC Health Services prior to him becoming the EP. Once he assumed the office of the EP, he immediately named his wife Chief of Programs at Bamenda CBC Radio. This means that there was a vacancy at the CBC Radio but it was not advertised: no notice was posted to let other qualified applicants apply at least for the sake of maintaining his highly trumpeted equity. Instead, the EP hired his wife, in solo, without posting a job announcement. His wife, a social worker by training, went on to become a journalist, managing all CBC Radio shows and reporting on the EP’s trips.
This is the kind of fairness that the EP preaches and practices. People are currently concerned about the Chief of Programs’ prolonged absence from her position. However, since it is the EP’s wife, this is not a problem. Meanwhile, she continues to be paid in full for doing nothing. This is simply an indication that the pinnacle of injustice and nepotism in the church can be seen from the way this Chief of Programs post was created and how the EP’s wife was nightly hired into it – with no prior training nor experience.
Similar circumstances exist at the CBC Printing Press, where the EP has compelled the hiring of his relatives as finance employees in the absence of a fair hiring procedure that would have offeredall qualified applicants equal opportunity. The EP must cease misleading the Christians and begin to live up to his words. After all that’s what makes a man of God.
4) Manipulating public opinion about Prof. Tih refusing to leave office
The CBC Executive President is not only a manipulator but one that lies without shame. How will he say repeatedly that the CBC revised Constitution of June 10, 2023 was adopted? Where and by how many votes? This is the public debate for him to clarify to the Churches of the CBC. Please Mr. Executive President, do not derail your audience to trivial matters. By so doing you are telling more lies.
In many of his outings, the EP has blackmailed and backstabbed one of the renowned CBC Directors that the CBC has ever had so far over and over that he does not want to leave the office. This is a major distraction from the real problems which you have plunged the CBC into. While the EP is moving about spewing such lies and destroying the CBC, the said Department leader is working and making even more wins for the CBC. He is not a liability to the CBC. Instead, the EP is the true liability because while Prof. Tih is still busy creating wealth for the system, the EP is focus on squandering it and plunging the CBC into more hardship! The EP has lied on many instances that Prof. Tih has worked for 4 decades and refusing to retire. Kindly note that those are productive years of service to the church for which he deserves respect.
Meanwhile, as an honest leader, also tell your audience that he is the one that has made major contributions to the CBC including the Administrative Head Office where you are presently sitting. Also, mention that he bought the first new Land Cruiser you are moving in and telling lies to the Churches. A leader can be in the office for a few years and cause more damage than one who has been there for decades.
Leaving the major issue of the Constitution for which he is being indicted and focusing on Prof. Tih who has been in the office for long and refusing to leave office is manipulation. Fellow Christians, we want to tell you the truth about this false accusation, following our investigation. We have done enough investigation on this matter since the Executive President continued to use it frequently in his campaign trail as a strong argument. The truth of the matter is that the CBC Health Board met in December 2023 with all readiness to elect a new Director for that department following the General Council recommendation of 2019.

The Executive President on entry into office had among his first reforms, to wipe off the posts of Technical Advisers which existed in the medical service to replace them with Deputy Directors. The explanation and rationale were that he was preparing for succession. He therefore put in place two Deputy Directors. The First Deputy had more experience since he had been doing the work for some years prior to this window dressing reform. When the time came for succession, all eyes were on the two deputy directors. At least one of them must feature among the candidates for election. The First Deputy who had demonstrated outstanding leadership skills over many years and ready to fit into the big shoe of the outgoing Director was most thought of by all Board members. To the greatest disappointment of all the Board members, none of the two Deputies featured on the list presented by the Executive President and his team of two. Every Board member was furious except the three search committee members. The Executive President and his two colleagues failed to justify why none of the two deputies were considered to stand
election following his promises of succession using the deputies. Everyone was furious and voted against all the two unqualified candidates. The votes were taken to the general Council.
At this time, fortunately, the Executive President had not yet poisoned the minds of the General Council Members, so they also rejected the results of the election because none of the candidates scored up to half the votes. There and then the Executive President promised to bring back one of the unqualified candidates that scored 3 out of 16 votes during the election at the level of his Board.
The re-election was to take place in March but instead of sending the elections to be done back in the same Board which is constitutionally mandated to elect the Director, the Executive President misinformed the General Council that the election of all Department Directors is the responsibility of the General Council which was delegated to the Departments. This is part of the lies that the Executive President tells. This has never happened in the CBC since its foundation. Those who protested at the board level were blackmailed and suspended.
In March, the Executive brough two candidates to the General Council for election and made sure he washed the most competent one in dirty water and then gave hundreds of golden reasons to accept the one who failed to obtain a pass vote during the election at his Board level. Having prepared the Field Pastors in his pre-meeting with them, they obeyed his instructions and confirmed his choice. It is a big shame for a Church leader to manipulate people the way this one does. In his public outing, he paints the picture that the incumbent does not want to leave office.

Did the incumbent participate in the selection and presentation of unqualified candidates for election in December? Did the incumbent ask him to eliminate the names of the two most qualified candidates (the two Deputy Directors)? Why is he not telling the churches that his committee eliminated the most qualified candidates from participating in the election and presented candidates that did not qualify? Is he trying to discredit the incumbent and to make him seem like a leader that did not prepare a successor? No, he did. The First Deputy to the incumbent is most qualified and has demonstrated all competences to run the department same as the incumbent. Afterall, he has worked very humbly and devotedly with the incumbent for more than ten years. Mentorship comes with time and with practice.
The CBC Health department has been the pride of CBC. It should continue to be. Any attempts to crumble it or tarnish the image of those who have worked hard to build it should be rejected and pointed out early enough before the department crumbles.
5) Rev. Nditemeh has taken negative politics into the House of God, Christians must fight
out this phenomenon before it destroys the church
Did you know that the EP is intensely campaigning to be elected for the next mandate? Oh YES, he is. He may tell you that he is not doing so. That is part of the campaign. Like every other politician who hits the campaign path, he lies. False promises, backstabbing, and extortion are all part of his political strategies. Similar to the Pigs in Animal Farm, he tells the village Christians and lower-level employees that while the upper leaders are enjoying, they are suffering. That He’ll make them experience what the elite pastors and Christians have. He’ll see to it that no one is left out in the cold, that salaries are fair, and that everyone at the CBC is treated equally. He manipulates village pastors into thinking that city pastors are opulently living while they are suffering, and he is there to make things right for them. He knows too well that all what he is promising can never come to pass.
In his campaign trail, he does all he can to deviate and divert attention from the Convention’s real problems to the trivial things that he believes the common man would like to hear. He capitalizes on his so-called reforms which center on changing the CBC Constitution to suit his whims and caprices. He will do anything including crushing anyone on his path to change the Constitution to place himself in the indisputable position of a dictator in the CBC. He has single-handedly crafted a controversial revised constitution (as we highlighted above) that has sparked huge argumentsand debates at all levels. What he does is threaten the Field Pastors and Chairpersons of all the Department Boards with sanctions if they fail to stand by him and defend all the illegalities perpetrated against the CBC Christians. To ensure this, we are told, the EP holds pre-meetings with all Field Pastors before the General Council to coach them on what to say during the meeting and none of them dare oppose him in the meeting. They are either quiet or support him in all the lies he tells.
Do you know that he believes he is succeeding in derailing the Christians using his campaign lies and deception? He believes that he has the best campaign tactics when he says he is going to die because he is the savior of the CBC and people are against his reforms.
The question is what reforms? Is falsifying the CBC constitution and imposing an unadopted version on the churches a reform? Is telling lies about elections in the department Boards reforms? After all of this, the BIG CBC LAWYER, as he projects himself, says he is the only Executive President that has done Law and the CBC Legal Advisers are unable to manipulate him like they did for all the former Executive Presidents. That is an insult on the former Executive Presidents and on the CBC Legal Advisers. He adds that the CBC Legal Advisers “are legal liabilities, not legal minds”. This is arrogance and insult of the first order to fine legal minds like the ones he is referring to.
6) Lies about his salary reductions
The compensation this EP receives for his job is one important area in which he has amply displayed his talent for deceit and deception. Don’t be deceived by his public declarations that he has no interest in money. He has also been spreading false information that, after becoming EP, he cut his pay. This is an obvious “holy lie” from a man of God.
We will like to inform Christians that, on the other hand, this EP doubled both his duty post allowance and salary shortly after assuming office (documentation is available at our news desk). And behold, this has nothing to do with the vast sums of money that fields, churches, and departments donate to keep his office operational. This funding notwithstanding, as we previously mentioned, he has now established a corruption machinery for the systematic and unlawful collecting of more money when he visits fields, churches, and institutions. This establishes a very poor precedent from a man who claims to be a man of God because, in due course, Field Pastorsand other Convention leaders will adopt a similar business model and begin soliciting donations from their constituents when they visit them. Before things become worse, it will be wise for Christians to call this money-minded phony supposed man of God to order. As it is said, “a stitch in time saves nine”!
7) False claims about threats of life
The EP stated in his presentation before the unlawful and unconstitutional exceptional extraordinary general session on June 10, 2023, that he had written his will and was prepared to pass away at any time. All he had to do, he claimed, was for his people to show him where in his village he might be buried.
In March 2024, the EP reaffirmed this to the Mezam Senior Divisional Officer (SDO) that he was the target of death threats until his family and wife have left Bamenda. He said he was willing to die, to the extent that the SDO thought about putting state security officers to protect him. Although fear is a natural human emotion, one begins to wonder what and how is this insecurity manifesting. Could it be that he is being haunted by spirits when he is in Bamenda? Besides, has the ministry and or the CBC now become a death trap for Christians?
By creating all these fears around an office that is meant to be holy, what message is the EP trying to send out to the world when he makes such unequivocal statements in public? Are these meant to imply that we are evangelizing and bringing people to a murderous church? Another question that is begging for answers is why is it that of all past EPs only Rev. Nditemeh feels so unsafe leaving is the house allocated to him within a safe environment like the Baptist Center?
It should be remembered that in his speech at the CBC Annual Field Bible conferences in 2023, the EP stated in public that he sleeps with an open eye while in Bamenda due to insecurity and that the pastors of these Fields are against him and are actively seeking to discredit him. If the EP says this of the Field pastors with whom he is called to lead the church, then one wonders where the church is now being taken to and by whom. If an EP does not have the full support, respect and recognition by his Field Pastors, this is an indication that he is unfit to lead the church.
From every indication, as we learned, Rev. Nditemeh is quite gifted in the art of manipulation and it will be no doubt that this may just be one of his several cards to draw the sympathy of Christians
and obtain support for his plans.

Finally, the main problem of the CBC is the constitutional gross illegality demonstrated by the Executive President by single-handedly revising it – in total disrespect of the procedure as laid down. Any other problem being projected by him in his campaign tour of the fields is just a way of diverting attention from this main problem to what he thinks the people want to hear. He tries to weep sentiments into the Christians that he is the redeemer of the CBC and will be killed because he is speaking the truth and trying to help the poor. LIES! HE MUST STOP ALL OF THAT NOW.
The EP must have rethink about how destructive this way of functioning is to the church. It is important for Christians too to let him know that as all what he has done so has only brought dishonour and division. He will need to explain to Christians what spirits are chasing him because he was given the CBC in a peaceful and unified church centred on the Great Commission but all that we have left now in just his first mandate is a big shame and disgrace. Rev. Nditemeh does not deserve to be allowed to cause further harm to God’s church. After all, as the Bible puts it
“There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end, it leads to destruction” Prov. 14:12.
