CAMEROUN,Bello Bouba resigns from the Government

Sources in Yaounde say the Vice Prime Minister, Minister of State, Minister of Tourism and Leisure, Bello Bouba Maigari, has dropped his letter of resignation today, June 30th, 2025

He becomes the country’s first Vice Prime Minister to ever reign.

Bello last weekend announced plans to challenge Biya in October by standing under his UNDP party with a strong following in the North, effectively ending a 30-year political alliance which has seen him be Minister uninterrupted for that number of years.

Bello Bouba was the country’s first ever Prime Minister.

He now joins his brother from the grand North Issa Tchiroma Bakary, to dump the CPDM regime, barely 3 months before the Presidential election

If this is finally confirmed, can that hidden political messiah long predicted by Um Nyobé, to take the Third Republic to safety, be from the North again?
