The President of the National Assembly, Cavaye Yéguié Djibril, announced, at the end of a meeting of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Rally (RDPC), the candidacy of Paul Biya in 2025.
The resolution read by the President of the National Assembly Cavaye Yéguié Djibril announced “a strong ambition” of the Far North region to make Paul Biya the candidate for the 2025 presidential election.
This new invitation from the Far North region is part of the dynamic of calls launched in an increasingly urgent manner to make President Paul Biya the candidate of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Rally (RDPC).
For the moment, the President of the Republic Paul Biya has not made an act of candidacy for the presidential election. During his message to the nation on the occasion of December 31, 2024, President Paul Biya had reaffirmed “his determination” to “continue to serve” Cameroonians.
