According to La République du Cameroun former Police Commissioner Albert Leopold Ebene, Paul Biya and Francophones consider Anglophones as second class people. That many Anglophones are acting stupid, killing their brothers. Over 30 years, Paul Biya alone has taken Anglophones’ petrol and oil for himself. Anglophones are used by Francophones so they can molest and enslave their people and destroy their villages and properties. Anglophones like La République du Cameroun, but La République du Cameroun doesn’t like Anglophones. That if Anglophone soldiers, gendarmes, and police serving la republique du Cameroon lay down their arms, an immediate solution to the ongoing war will be sought. Can Anglophones learn? (he spoke in a video message)
Comment by Emmanuel Vana Awasum:
When Jesus was nailed on the cross flanked by a thief on each side, one of the thieves questioned why an innocent man should be nailed together with them who were criminals.
He acknowledged his guilt but decried the injustice meted out on Jesus ..
A man can be of questionable character, yet he can speak the truth about others.
This former Police man is simply telling us what we already know. It’s an open secret that in Cameroun, Anglophones are considered and treated like sub-class citizens.
It would be intellectual dishonesty to deny that fact at this, our golden age.
We are the first victims of the circumstance, as we grew up when the truly democratic Anglophone system of governance was hijacked by the Francophone oligarchy in Yaounde.
We are the first generation to be ushered into a new era of mismanagement, tribalism, nepotism, and marginalisation.
Before our very eyes, a whole nation was annexed through a political osmosis masterminded by France and the government of la Republique du Cameroun, then partitioned as the North West and South West provinces of Cameroun.
It was a flagrant abrogation of the country’s own federal constitution enshrined in article 47, and also a criminal act in international law.
It criminal act eventually set a precedence whose repercussions were going to be far reaching and disastrous to the federation of the two Cameroons.
This man has prescribed the elixir to the Anglophone problem…all sons and daughters serving in the military, police and gendarmerie of la republique du Cameroun should resign, and hand over their military accoutrements to the Prefectures.
Simple!!!!
I should also add that all Parliamentarians and Senators should do the same.
Actions speak louder than words.
These people are the ones endorsing the marginalisation, mistreatment, and slaughter of their people through their blind, if not greedy and selfish allegiance to a regime that hates them but paradoxically will not let them go.
