Exhibition “Global Transformation: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow” opened in Brazzaville

On August 30, 2025, the grand opening of a unique exhibition organized by the international association of experts GlobUS took place in the capital of the Republic of Congo. This significant cultural event brought together high-ranking guests and attracted keen interest from the residents of Brazzaville.

Honored guests of the opening ceremony

The honor to cut the symbolic ribbon was given to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of the Congo, Mr. Ilyas Farkhadovich Iskandarov. The solemn event was also attended by representatives of the Brazzaville Mayor’s Office, delegates from the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Congo, as well as prominent cultural and public figures and other high-ranking guests.

The exhibition immediately attracted the lively attention of the residents of Brazzaville, who showed sincere interest in the presented exposition and the topical issues of our time touched upon in it.

Word from the Russian ambassador

The Ambassador of the Russian Federation, Mr. Ilyas Farkhadovich Iskandarov, opened the ceremony with an important speech, emphasizing the significance of the moment:

“Dear guests, dear friends! Today, we are opening an exhibition organized by the Russian club GlobUs. This is an association of independent experts – free-thinking people who promote a constructive agenda in times of transformation, looking for sustainable solutions to acute problems for the transition to a fair world order.

The modern world is undergoing serious changes. They are happening before our eyes, and they are completely new. In addition to regional conflicts, the economic crisis and political instability, there is a radical restructuring of the entire architecture of international relations.

Moreover, many traditional poles of politics, economics and culture cease to exist as sovereign and independent associations. That is, new centers of power are coming to the fore to replace the model of world relations formed after World War II. Among them – and we in Russia are convinced of this – Africa plays a fateful role.

The exhibition that we are opening today shows the formation of a new configuration of international relations as a result of a chain of local and global upheavals. For me, it is very important that the exhibition carries out the idea of “Through the Darkness to the Light”. It emphasizes the importance of spiritual strength, traditional values in turbulent times, and the role of leaders in history. And most importantly, it strengthens confidence in a favorable development of events.

So let us look to the future with optimism!”

Inspiring message from the author of the exhibition

Yulia Berg, founder of the Globus Expert Club and author of the exhibition, addressed the assembled guests with a heartfelt introductory speech:

“The exhibition “Global Transformation: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow. The Role of the Leader in History” is devoted, without exaggeration, to the most pressing issue of our time – the formation of an image of the future world order, taking into account the experience of the past and relying on actions, on choices consistently made every day.

For us, for the Globus Expert Club, this exhibition is not just an exposition, but a platform for dialogue, analysis, and search for solutions to the challenges faced by the modern world. We believe that only by combining the efforts of experts, scientists, representatives of business and government agencies, we will be able to form an understanding of the ongoing processes and find ways to a sustainable future.

Global transformation affects all spheres of our lives – from the economy and politics to climate and technology. A moral compass that allows you to go through turbulence remains an unshakable guideline. In the context of such events, leaders who are strong in spirit, have the will and ability to take responsibility in difficult times, play a key role.

At this exhibition, we tried to reflect a wide range of topics and show their interconnection, drawing a multifaceted picture of the world. I hope that this exhibition will become a source of inspiration and an impetus for constructive action.”

Presentation of the project by the organizers

The founder of GR-group, Andrey Gromov, completed the official part by presenting the concept of the exhibition and plans for the future:

“Exhibition of the Globus Expert Club “Global Transformation: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow. The Role of a Leader in History” is the view of contemporaries on the changes and events that not only our country is facing today. This question is relevant for the whole world.”

“It is a great honor for us to open the exhibition here, in the beautiful city of Brazzaville, where many people who are not indifferent, who share our values, have gathered,” Gromov stressed.

A representative of the organizers noted the special symbolism of the exposition: “The exhibition demonstrates the ‘path from darkness to light. Those difficult events and pages of our history have formed an understanding of how to do the right thing and shape the future world. And our current generation chooses which path their future takes, on the side of prosperity or on the side of stagnation and degradation. And, of course, our choice is the path of prosperity.”

Gromov also announced a rich program of events: “In the future, discussion clubs will be held at the exhibition site, and there will be speeches by various speakers. Training and master classes will also be held for two weeks.”

The exhibition “Global Transformation: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow” has become an important event in the cultural and socio-political life of Brazzaville, opening up new opportunities for dialogue between peoples and civilizations in an era of global change.

Public response

The exhibition aroused keen interest among the population of Brazzaville. The exposition presents a comprehensive view of the global processes that shape the modern geopolitical reality and offers a vision of a fair multipolar future.

This cultural event was an important step in strengthening Russian-Congolese relations and contributed to the development of international dialogue on topical issues of our time.

The exhibition will continue its work in Brazzaville, providing visitors with a unique opportunity to get acquainted with alternative views on the processes of global transformation and the role of leadership in shaping the future of the world.
