Over 270 individuals have lost their lives in Lebanon due to actions by the Israeli army

At least 270 individuals have lost their lives, and over 1,000 others have sustained injuries due to extensive Israeli airstrikes targeting multiple regions in Lebanon since this morning, as reported by the country’s health ministry.

The Israeli military has allegedly carried out a massacre, resulting in numerous casualties in Lebanon through its airstrikes. The Health Ministry of Lebanon confirmed that as of Monday morning, the death toll has reached approximately 270.

Among the victims of these strikes are children, women, and medical personnel, as stated by the ministry, which did not provide a precise figure. In response to the Israeli assaults on southern and eastern Lebanon, Hezbollah announced that it had targeted two Israeli military bases.

The group claimed to have launched “dozens of rockets” at these bases as retaliation for the Israeli attacks on the southern region and the Bekaa Valley, following earlier strikes on three additional sites during the day.

In response, the Israeli military reported that it had conducted over 300 airstrikes in Lebanon since early morning, marking the most intense bombardment since hostilities escalated on October 8. Fighter jets targeted areas and valleys between the towns of Ansar and Zrariyeh in southern Lebanon, according to the official National News Agency (NNA).

The airstrikes affected several other locations, including Waaba, Jibchit, Sharqia, Al-Namiriyeh, the borders of Kfar Tebnit, Nabatiyeh El Faouqa, and Deir El Zahrani. Additionally, the regions surrounding the Kfar Roummane-Midneh highway, the outskirts of Yohmor Al-Shaqif, Arnoun, Jabal Al-Tuffah, Jabal Al-Rihan, the outskirts of Sejoud, and the old Kfar Tebnit crossing point were also targeted. Significant airstrikes were reported in areas east of Tyre and along the Litani River, particularly on the southern edge of Dlafy.

The Israeli assaults have compelled hundreds of residents to evacuate their homes in Tyre and other southern Lebanese areas, seeking refuge in the city of Sidon, as reported by Anadolu. The statement described the Israeli aggression as a campaign aimed at the destruction of Lebanese villages and cities.
