A vibrant, playful show where everything is red.
From bold abstraction to pop-inflected figuration, the exhibition explores the energy, emotion, and symbolism of red across different media. In African cultures, red often signifies vitality, power, and ancestral presence. In Russian culture, the word for red (krasny) shares its root with the word beautiful (krasiviy), reflecting the deep cultural resonance and aesthetic power of the color.
Our partnering gallery, “I-A” Gallery of Contemporary African Art, will open the exhibition “𝐑𝐞𝐝. 𝐑𝐚𝐝.” and present, sell the artworks in December 2025 in the centre of Moscow.
Some shortlisted works will be bought by the gallery, while others will be offered to be presented in the exhibition. We will invite artists, whose works will be exhibited, to Art Residence on Lower Zambezi 2-12 November 2025 in Zambia.
