Separatist Ambush in Ndu: Three Killed, One Injured – A tragic incident occurred in Ndu, Donga Mantung Division, where an ambush by separatists resulted in the deaths of three individuals and left one person injured. The attack took place in the Mbaw plain, targeting a vehicle carrying both civilians and a gendarme officer. The ambush led to the immediate deaths of a soldier and an unidentified civilian, while two other civilians were critically injured. Unfortunately, one of the injured civilians, Theophilus Nyong, later succumbed to his injuries.
This incident is part of the ongoing Anglophone Crisis in Cameroon, where separatist groups seek independence for the English-speaking regions. The conflict has led to numerous casualties and significant unrest in the affected areas.
