Cameroun: Directors steal over XAF 143 billion
Supreme state audits reveal that directors of public companies and parastatals have stolen 143,000,000,000 francs CFA from the Cameroonian people between 2008 and 2024
And that’s an estimate by the government’s service, ohh!
Imagine if we had an independent audit to do the work, the amount would have been mind-blowing since corruption is endemic in the country.
The shocking revelations were made on April 18, 2025, by the minister delegate at the Presidency of the corrupt republic of Cameroon in charge of the Supreme state audit, Madame Rose Mbah Acha Fomundam and her team in Yaounde
The minister has vowed to recover all the stolen funds beginning next week and says those guilty will repay the money and be banned from holding public offices for 5 to 10 years.
