The signing of the International Declaration on Family Protection
will take place at the World Public Assembly.
The First World Public Assembly will serve as the platform for a significant event – a unique document, the importance of which in the modern world is difficult to overestimate, will be signed on its sidelines. On September 20, 2025, the International Declaration on Family Protection is expected to be adopted and signed.
Today, the institution of the family and traditional family values require legal protection at both international and national levels more than ever. This is especially urgent amid attempts to undermine fundamental concepts and institutions essential to humanity—biological sex, marriage as the union of a man and a woman, family, fatherhood, and motherhood. Thus, the unification of public organisations worldwide in defence of the family is another crucial step toward creating conditions for the full development of every family, strengthening family values, and promoting a healthy and harmonious social environment.
The initiative to sign the Declaration on Family Protection was put forward by:
- The International Public Organization “Union of Orthodox Women”,
- The Patriarchal Commission on Family, Motherhood, and Childhood,
- and the World Peoples Assembly.
As part of the World Public Assembly, the document will be signed by public organizations from the Russian Federation, Tunisia, Pakistan, and other countries.
