THE SOUTHERN CAMEROONS INDEPENDENCE IS NON-NEGOTIABLE

Before any negotia tions on the Independence of Southern Cameroons, a political deconstruction of the Foumban Conference as a Charade of a Social Pact should be done. Secondly, the monstrosity and the hoax of a plebiscite based on the nonsensical phrase “Independence by Joining” must be exposed. Thirdly, the fear factor and obscurantism of the terms at Foumban folly should be revisited. These all undermine the status of the plebiscite and the federation, as well as the sacred unity as a social pact, according to Jean-Jacques Rousseau. Why Rousseau as the point of Reference? Rousseau provides the philosophical base for the modern Republics enunciated by the French Revolution. Rousseau instigated Voltaire, Robespierre et alia to question the absolute monarchy of France, thereby ushering in the Republican spirits. Since the Republican spirit in Cameroon is championed by France, whose Republic is based on Rousseau’s Social Contract,a proper deconstruction of the Founding Conference must be done about Rousseau. Ironically, the Southern Cameroons Parliamentary Republic respects Rousseau’s politics than the Presidential system of la Republique du Cameroun. ALL SOUTHERN CAMEROONIANS NEED TO HAVE A CONFERENCE BEFORE THE NEXT NEGOTIATIONS TO AVOID THE ERRORS OF FOUMBAN. Rousseau calls it A Pact Before The Pact
