What interest does the Vatican have in Cameroon, a failed state?
The Catholic church has completely killed the concept of justice in its liturgy and preachings. They will preach peace without justice. But we all read the Bible. In that Bible, Jesus always spoke more of justice than peace. The popes and their church will come here and ask Cameroonians to seek Peace. What is the interpretation of this? When Biya steals elections, kills anglophones, and kills political opponents, the people should stay quiet because if they react, that will be a breach of peace. That is the doctrine, and that’s what makes me certain that whenever Biya commits crimes, he invites the popes to come and preach this doctrine of skewed Peace. Which is very, very vexing
The other day, I took a look at Cameroon’s internal debt. The regime owes ordinary Cameroonians. Owes retired workers. Owes teachers, and refusing to pay… Some people die without finding money to seek medical care, but are owed money by the regime. But watch the lavish, extravagant and colossal sum of money the regime will spend to receive the pope. Just watch the financial scandals, theft and embezzlement that hawks of the regime will profit from this unwanted visit to plunge the masses into further misery. They are ruthless, opportunistic thieves in this regime. They steal in billions. Look at the CANgate, Covidgate. Glencoregate and port gate. Personally, the pope should have pitied Cameroonians, rejected Biya’s invitation, and not offered another opportunity for these gangsters to embezzle more…. It’s disheartening. What did the previous 4 papal visits bring to this country, if not only poverty, war, crime, and impunity?
I will still ask this question. What is peculiar to Cameroon that almost all popes must come here and some even twice before they die? 4 papal visits in a relatively short while and at curious and critical moments. Some Catholic countries have yet to see even one papal visit. I believe that there is something Biya has to do with these visits. Afterall each time he is the one inviting them. He is either using the popes or the popes are using him, or both parties think they are using each other. But one thing I know with Biya and his regime is they are willing and capable of bribing even Jesus…… If that will whitewash their dirty image
We need to know the truth about these so-called papal visits in Cameroon. His itinerary carefully leaves out Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger. Sahel Countries that are bringing hope to a hopeless continent, the pope sidelines them, because even the Vatican is not happy to see a free Africa… Shame
