WINTA 2025 ELECTIONS
Dear Warriors,
I had the privilege to live the conception and the birth of WINTA whose overarching mission was to jealously guard the authentic culture and tradition of the Mbum people. I also had the honour to serve as 1st deputy President in the pioneer coordination team that ensued from the consultations following the creation of WINTA. At each of these stages, I learned through hands-on experience as I worked alongside other Wimbum sons who are not only well-grounded in Nfuh tradition, but also in local development.
Today, as was the case yesterday, my belief that Nfuh can play a major protective role and give great visibility to Mbum culture and tradition remains strong. In addition, I have a very strong conviction that the Nfuh secret society exemplifies the true unity of Mbum people and, at the same time, can serve as a platform to achieve greater unity for our people.
Based on these strong convictions, my deep understanding of the critical role of Nfuh Mbum in driving our cultural revival and the desire for leadership continuity in WINTA;
I hereby present myself as a candidate for the upcoming election for a new WINTA coordination team this 2025. Notwithstanding my enthusiasm and commitment to serve as a person, I recognize the need to work with others in achieving the daunting mission I have set for my mandate.
To this effect, I have chosen to surround myself with men of valour, integrity and men whose traces of development works are visible across Mbumland. Together with this team, we are dedicated to consolidating WINTA gains, fostering a new spirit in WINTA which is driven by a strong passion to unite, promote our authentic culture through engaging events and to ensure WINTA assumes a more frontal developmental role working alongside other Mbum institutions and associations.
Our vision shall be centred on a concept of “One Nfuh” which consists of going back to the fundamentals of the Nfuh secret society as legated to us by our forefathers, while at the same time assigning to Nfuh a developmental mission.
Core axes of my mandate will hence consist of;
1. Promote Mbum cultural heritage and ensure the dignity of Mbum royalty
2. Foster unity and peace
3. Promote Nfuh for development
If given the chance, my team and I hereby pledge to manage WINTA with an open mind, receptive to new ideas and leveraging on continuous dialogue to build and achieve consensus while placing the general interest of Mbum above all others. Our mission will be one – that of making the Wimbum Nfuh secret society thrive and reach all corners of the earth as a unique, priceless cultural identity of our people.
