105 Schools Declared Illegal in Cameroon
The Minister of Secondary Education, Madam Nalova Lyonga, has announced the closure of 105 schools across the country for operating illegally.
Parents and students are advised to verify school status before paying fees to avoid enrolling in institutions that are not officially recognised.
According to the released list:
Northwest Region: 5 schools affected
– Baptist Secondary School, Jikejam Oku
– King David Secondary School, Ndu
– Delicig Comprehensive High School, Alakuma, Bamenda II
– Heritage Grade Technical and Commercial College, Banja, Bamenda II
– New Vision Secondary School, Ndop
Southwest Region: 11 schools affected
– Excel Buea Bilingual College, Buea
– Brexton Comprehensive College, Buea
– Gecoms College, Muea
– Cali Technical and Commercial College, Mile 14 Dibanda
– Victoria Bilingual High School, Mbonjo Limbe
– Victoria Comprehensive College, Down Beach Limbe
– Glorious College of Excellence, Ngome Limbe
– Abata Technical and Commercial College, Batoke
– Kings Progressive Comprehensive College, Tiko
– Etoke High School, Mutengene
– Miriam High School, Misselele Tiko
