According to our highly reliable and unimpeachable sources, we are informed that there will be no elections in Cameroon in October 2025.
Many reasons are floating around for this dramatic turn of events.
Some elderly Statesmen in the Politbureau of the CPDM Party, Elderly Military top brass, Civil Society leaders with no known political affiliations, friendly African former Heads of States, Diplomats and others who don’t want Cameroon to degenerate into another (NCS) Nightmarish Chaotic Syndrome, are pleading with the President of the Republic, The Senate, National Assembly and the entire Government to press the Pause button immediately.
Let everyone take a deep breath while a committee of 25 to 40 Elderly patriotic individuals, including Religious and some non-political traditional authorities, are convened for an emergency crisis meeting.
Objective?
Come up with an immediate Emergency Crisis Plan to diffuse the perceptible monumental crisis looming in the country. They will ask the various Political leaders of all stripes to tone down the dangerous rhetoric, demagoguery and hate messages floating around the country, until it is conducive for all and sundry to start their campaigns.
Will all the protagonists of doom and inferno listen to these elderly Statesmen and Women?
We, the poor lamnda Peepoo na daso to shidon, are waiting and seeing. Will the ego-driven, ambitious milliardaires listen to this cautionary advice? We pray they do, if, as they claim, they too love the country as much as we do the downtrodden.
