Neglect of the Southern Cameroons After the Faked Foumban and Faked Plebiscite

Neglect of the Southern Cameroons After the Faked Foumban and Faked Plebiscite
Oku subdivision, where former Prime Minister Yang Philomone comes from, has no tarred roads leading to the area or the town. The Ekondo Titi subdivision and the Ndian division in general, where the current Prime Minister Chief Dr Joseph Dion Ngute comes from has no roads in the town and his village.
Over 70% of the Northwest and Southwest regions are not interconnected, just the major divisions like Fako, Mezam and Meme. The worst of it is, to travel to Lebialem division in the Southwest region, one has to leave the Southwest region to Dschang, passing through the West region to enter Lebialem in the Southwest region, due to inaccessibility. Strangely, elites from Lebialem are careless about the suffering of their people.
These acts of neglect are deliberate to keep Southern Cameroons – Ambazonians who butter the bread subservient to the looters, who are the French and the French Cameroon
Minister of Public Works Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi, on the contrary, has connected the entire Western region where he comes from with modern asphalt roads. Foumban, Foumbot, Bangante, Mbouda, Dschang, Baffousam, and Banjoun are heavily interconnected, and even farm-to-market roads are well tarred. These areas consist of the best road network in the nation, only comparable to Douala, Yaounde and the South region where he concentrates his efforts.
Minister of Urban Development and Housing Ketcha Courtes, who happens to come from the Western region as well, shuns developments elsewhere and concentrates on the Western region, Douala, Yaounde and the South Region. Attracting criticism, as the majority of low-cost urban houses built for the poor are being inhabited by the rich.
Isn’t it time for anglophone ministers to concentrate and do more for their regions of origin, like the others?
