Why did the Referee not END the match after the Sénégal players Left the pitch ?.
So why did the referee restart the match if CAF now says Senegal forfeited the finals ?.
The CAF and FIFA Presidents were all present, why did they not tell the Referee about the law if he had forgotten..?
Are they telling us they deliberately appointed an incompetent referee to officiate the finals of a major competition like the AFCON??
The ref should know such laws. His assistants should know. Those in the VAR should know, but guess what they let the game play on because they thought Diaz would score the penalty, and he missed..
A decision that should have been Taken on the pitch is taken in the offices two months later ????..
No one was aware of that law on that day?
So Motsepe handed Sénégal the trophy while planning on stripping it two months later…???
