Earthquake At The National Assembly
The untouchable CAVAYE YEGUII DJIBRIL has been replaced after 34 years as Speaker. A sign that change, too, may finally come to Cameroon. A wait-and-see.
Notable changes are taking place in the National Assembly.
Hon. Datou Deodore has been elected President of the National Assembly, succeeding Cavaye Yegui Djibril.
The new Speaker of the House, Hon. Datou Theodore, was elected this afternoon, 17/03/2026. He is 65 Years old
<∆They’re still birds of the same feather∆
Cavaye Yegui Djibril had dedicated 34 years as Speaker of the National Assembly and 54 years in the Cameroon government.
While innocent families suffer, a few individuals are getting richer every day.
While government schools remain closed, children’s futures are being destroyed.
State workers quietly run private businesses from the comfort of their homes, while ordinary citizens struggle to survive.
Weapons sellers are making huge profits from death and destruction; people with guns command and control as if they own everyone’s lives.
This is not just unfair is painful, shameful and unacceptable. The suffering of the people has become a profit for the greedy
Before Hon Wirba re-signed from the House of Assembly, he told CAVAYE YEGUII DJIBRIL to re-sign as the house speaker cause he’s not saving his people, and he also said that if he insists, he’ll be replaced. Where are you now
