Imbroglio Senegal – Morocco: The Referee’s decision is Final – Raymond Hack
Former Arbitrator at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), Raymond Hack, has said Senegal could win their case because the refereeโs decision is final:
โThe rules are very simple, the referee is the only person in charge of the game on the field, and when he blows the whistle, thatโs the end of the game; anything that happened before doesnโt come into the final decision.
โThe referee is the only person who can bring the game to an end. He brought the game to an end at the end of extra time, and the winner was Senegal. So Senegal remains champions. โ
