Dear Reverend Roland Ngwayi Changong,
As a choir family, it is difficult to put into words how much we already miss you.
You were more than our Associate Pastor. You were a shepherd, a mentor, a father, and a friend to us all. Your ministry among us as the Regional Secretary for Lay Training and Evangelism, East Moungo South, and as one of the pastors of PC Bassa left an indelible mark on our congregation and especially on our choir.
Through your words of encouragement, your unwavering support, your presence at our activities, and your commitment to God’s work, you inspired us to sing not just with our voices but with our hearts.
Today, as you answer God’s call to serve as Parish Pastor of PCC Dschang Congregation and Chaplain of the University, we celebrate this new chapter in your ministry, even though your departure leaves a space that will be difficult to fill.
We will miss your guidance.
We will miss your prayers.
We will miss your smile.
We will miss your fatherly presence among us.
Thank you for every sermon preached, every prayer offered, every visit made, and every life touched. Thank you for believing in us and journeying with us.
As you begin this new assignment, our prayer is that God will continue to strengthen you, enlarge your ministry, and use you mightily for His glory.
Though miles may separate us, you will always remain a cherished member of the PC Bassa and CC Bassa family.
Go with our love.
Go with our prayers.
Go with our blessings.
May the Lord who called you continue to guide your steps.
We miss you already, Father.
