Cameroon GCE Board to acquire a printing press
Consultations are ongoing with the Chinese to have a multicolour printing press for the Cameroon General Certificate of Education Board (CGCEB), says the Board Chair, Prof Ivo Leke Tambo.
This is part of measures to maintain the integrity of the GCE exams. Prof Leke was speaking on July 22 in Buea while launching the 2026 phase of marking at the Baptist High School, Great Soppo. He equally stated that the Board was in the course of acquiring two delivery vans, which are almost on their way.
Besides an appeal for professionalism and the respect of ethics in the marking process, he urged for well-differentiated grading systems to reduce what he termed “inflation of the ‘A’ grade.”
