Vladimir Platonov and Co visit the “Moscow Days in Harbin”, the 10th Russian -Chinese EXPO
From May 17 to 20, Vladimir Platonov, President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was part of a delegation from the capital of Russia visiting the “Moscow Days in Harbin” and the 10th Russian-Chinese EXPO.
The key focus of the Moscow CCI head’s activities at the forum was on developing business contacts and inter-university cooperation. He spoke at the strategic session “Cooperation for Innovative Development: Industry, Science, Technology,” at the panel discussion “Moscow – Harbin: Prospects for Business, Foreign Economic, and Investment Cooperation,” at the conference “Modern Practices of Sustainable Urban Development,” at the 2nd Russian-Chinese Forum on Trade Services, and at a specialized conference titled “Dialogue Platform – InterVUZ: City in Motion.”
In his speeches, the head of the Moscow CCI emphasized practical interaction between business associations, entrepreneurs, universities, and young people. “For us, working with young entrepreneurs is an investment in the sustainability of international cooperation, particularly Russian-Chinese cooperation. Foreign students, including those from China, take part in the ‘Start Your Business with Moscow’ project, and we see how a new generation of partners is being formed through education, practice, and direct contact with business. It is telling that in the first season, the winner of the project was a Chinese student with a project to promote a Russian brand,” noted Vladimir Platonov.
Speaking about developing contacts with Chinese partners, he underscored the importance of ongoing direct dialogue and joint work on specific initiatives. “It is direct communication between entrepreneurs, industry associations, universities, and business support institutions that creates a solid foundation for long-term cooperation,” said the President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Vladimir Platonov’s work in Harbin was an important part of the overall set of events aimed at developing business, educational, and interregional cooperation between Moscow and its Chinese partners.
