President-elect Donald Trump‘s inaugural committee is no longer selling tickets for major donors to attend his swearing-in ceremony due to a reported shortage.
Million-dollar donors are now on wait lists for inaugural events, as tickets for many of the events in Washington, D.C., that weekend have been sold out.
That has not stopped donors from cutting checks for the president-elect, as some are sending the committee money without receiving any access to the inaugural events in return.
One donor who is bundling for the committee confirmed to DailyMail.com that wealthy donors were struggling to get confirmed access to any of the inaugural events.
The former and future president’s inaugural committee has already raised $170 million and is on pace to raise up to $200 million.
The stunning sum more than doubles the funds raised by President Joe Biden in 2020, as his committee raised just $62 million after beating Trump in the presidential election.
The donations are used to pay for the inauguration ceremonies including the oath of office ceremony, the parade, and the inaugural balls, as the American taxpayer does not fund them.
The extra money will be used to fund President Trump’s future presidential library.

‘There is an incredible interest and excitement for President Trump’s inauguration and the events surrounding,’ committee spokesperson Danielle Alvarez said.
Inaugural committees allow late donors to demonstrate their support for the president-elect, even after donating to his opponent during the campaign.
The inauguration is the latest event where donors can rub shoulders with members of the incoming administration.
According to a copy of a donor package obtained by the Daily Mail, inaugural events include a Make America Great Again victory rally on Saturday, a reception with Trump’s cabinet appointees, and a dinner with Vice President JD Vance.

On Sunday, high-dollar donors can participate in an interfaith Sunday Service with Donald and Melania Trump and a candlelight dinner in the evening with the first couple.
Donors also get access to Monday’s inauguration ceremony and parade with tickets for the inauguration ball.
Big donors and tech executives who donated to President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris during the election have worked to signal their support for Trump after he won the election with significant numbers.
