A TRIBUTE TO CHRIS MBUNWE. LET THE TANGMBAW INK FLOW:
To things that creep or crawl to consciousness. To Things that sway to the rhythm of the wind. To something that blows like a cemetery breeze. To things came seeking attention and immortalisation, Chris, you did trap them in ink. Presenting yourself as an avatar of the Tangmbaw muse, trapped their essences in ink. COME AND SEE TANGMBAW WONDER as her golden child writes with a left hand. Even when the tongues of poets were amputated, the truth still filtered through your amputated fingers, Chris. To die while writing tributes to the living can only be a feat of Tangmbaw. The evergreenery of Tangmbaw palm fronds. The majestic silent gaze of Mt Tooreeh and Kopfuh testifies to the ever-living genius of a dying Tangmbaw intellectual. Sleep, Chris, with the hope of a Glorious Good Morning when the Tangmbaw Mission Bells toll for the morning mass. But, brother, while resting, let your ink flow in me. I will tell them that you saw tomorrow before crossing the Metaphysical threshold to me. Good Night
