ANGA Launches 3rd Edition of National Public Speaking Competition.
Following the vision of its president, Mr Wanja Walters, to raise young writers and public speakers who will know how to write their ideas effectively in books and also efficiently pitch these ideas in seminars and conferences, the Association of New Generation Authors (ANGA) has launched the 3rd Edition of the National Public Speaking Competition (NPSC).
This competition, which aims at promoting the art of public speaking, will give contestants a physical platform to showcase their skill and talent in public speaking to a mixed audience. The competition also aims at educating and reawakening society on the importance of public speaking, which is a necessary tool in every career.
The Secretary General of the Association, Marks Abaiko, who doubles as the coordinator for the competition, holds that this year’s competition will be bigger and more competitive. That is why the Association has increased the cash prizes this year. For example, from 250,000 FCFA last year to 300,000 FCFA for the first prize this year. The twin message is that the association is advancing with its desire to promote young talents, and the young talents are also showing interest in public speaking. Let’s look at how this year’s competition will look.

The competition has 3 stages:
