Mr Naseri Paul Bea, a native of Ambazonia and a colonial governor in the neighbouring LRC, was caught off guard when he made a preposterous statement about Southern Cameroonians!
Abomination is when “Anglophones ” are happy to be Francophone slaves, beggars, baby sitters, gate men, bambe boys. Now the colonial governor is saying that Anglophones are in their numbers in Yaounde, happily working away on Francophone farms. You cannot make this stuff up.
Listening to the 8 pm News today on Equinoxe TV with the Gov of Centre Province, Mr N Paul Bea, launching the activities of 20th May 2026 in his Administrative Unit… he said:
“Si vous arrivez à Yaoundé aujourd’hui, vous serez étonné du nombre impressionnant d’Anglophones de Bamenda qui travaillent dans nos champs.”
If you arrive in Yaounde today, you will be surprised by the impressive number of English speakers from Bamenda who work in our fields.
My elementary French is not perfect; hence, I would prefer someone with Moliere’s expertise to give us a verbatim translation of the Governor’s exact words.
