ANOTHER SOUTHERN CAMEROONIAN – AMBAZONIAN PRISONER OF CONSCIENCE LAID TO REST
Thousands gathered in Bamenda, North West Region of Cameroon, to pay their final respects to Patrick Asa’ah Ndangoh, widely known as “Manasata.” A prisoner of Conscience who allegedly died while still in prison without trial for about ten years.
The businessman, politician, freedom advocate and former Deputy Mayor of Bamenda I Council was laid to rest following a funeral procession through the streets of Bamenda, North West Region. Attendees, including representatives for detained figures at Kondengui Prison, used the occasion to reflect on his legacy and renew calls and hope for a peaceful, inclusive dialogue to resolve the conflict in the Anglophone regions.
