Cameroon Military Officer Arrested for Raping a 15-year-old girl
A Cameroonian military officer has been arrested after he was reportedly caught raping a 15-year-old girl at a military facility in Nachtigal, Center Region, the Ministry of Defence has said.
In a press release issued this Friday, June 12, the Ministry said the suspect, Sub-Lieutenant Mouack Boris, was the commander of a military detachment stationed at Nachtigal in the Mbam-et-Kim Division.
He reportedly forced himself on the girl after she was sent by her parents to collect a parcel at the military premises on June 10.
Security personnel responded after hearing the victim’s cries for help and immediately apprehended the officer.
Mindef said he was transferred to the Military Security Division’s disciplinary facilities in Yaounde pending the findings of an ongoing investigation.
Mindef said “disciplinary and judicial proceedings shall be initiated promptly” once the investigation is concluded, describing the offence as a “serious breach of honour and ethics”.
The victim received emergency medical care
La Republique du Cameroun – LRC seems to be acting swiftly on this case because the victim is one of theirs. Their officers commit crimes like mass murder, rape, extrajudicial killings, theft of private property, looting, arson, etc, in Ambazonia almost every day and go scot-free. They are hardly prosecuted for crimes they commit in Ambazonia. LRC treats Ambazonians as subhumans who do not have any rights to justice or any rights to equal treatment under the law.
The good thing is that the monsters they train and protect are now endangering their own. Ambazonia has the last laugh. Ambazonia shall overcome, come rain or shine. La luta continua.
