Olivier Bagneki Hugues, newly appointed head of Nsia Vie Assurances Cameroun on March 20, following a Board of Directors meeting held in Douala, tragically passed away only five months after taking office. According to sources, he died following a malaise.
It is a prestigious career that he leaves behind him, made up of renowned institutions. Holder of a Master 2 in international relations obtained from IRIC, the Cameroonian had accumulated nearly 15 years of experience in the sector, including 11 spent at the insurer Coface, the giant of credit insurance and risk management. An expert in the insurance market that he had been involved with for around ten years, he managed the activities of several countries in West and Central Africa, particularly in Cameroon. In 2020, he joined Nsia as Deputy General Manager (DGA) of the life branch.
Unfortunately, he did not have time to make a lasting impression in his new role, although his leadership promised to bring new momentum to the company.
