Cameroonians deserve to know the health situation of their President.
Since Paul Biya and his wife left for Europe in what officials at the Etoudi Palace described as a private visit, Cameroonians are yet to be convinced that it was really a private visit, without considering Paul Biya’s deteriorating health, coupled with his age.
And that is normal. But why hide the President’s ill health from the people who ” elected him”?
Today, foreign sources are saying Mr Paul Biya has been given a wheelchair and is currently being pushed in a clinic in Europe.
For those who watched Paul Biya honour his nation on May 20, 2026, during that nation’s National Day Celebration, there was almost a ripple of pity as they watched his trousers, as he wore a leg-supporting artificial apparatus.
Before that, during countless public appearances, Cameroonians have always been prohibited from taking pictures of Paul Biya, and the Rdpc rogue state broadcaster, CRTV, goes off and on hiding Pa Paul’s movements.
His entourage has always looked fearful, closing Pa and ready to keep him from falling.
Should the wheelchair award become a truism, isn’t it normal that old age and poor health go with it?
So what were the reasons for hiding an old man’s movements and not informing his citizens that the man is incapacitated?
