Professor Gloria Enow Ashutantang Appointed Pro- Chancellor, Buea University
Gloria Enow Ashutantang, a consultant nephrologist and Professor of Medicine, is the Pro-Chancellor of the University of Buea. The Distinguished Fellow of the European Renal Association, Knight and Officer of the Cameroon Order of Valour, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Bamenda, and co-author of over 100 peer-reviewed and textbook chapters, was appointed on June 2, 2026, by President Paul Biya. Amongst many other national and international distinctions, she is the first female and past President of the African Association of Nephrology
