Victoria United has made history in Cameroonian football by winning their first championship title. The Limbé club emerged victorious in the Play-Offs-Up held in Douala, finishing at the top of the mini-tournament with 13 points ahead of Stade Renard de Melong. On Tuesday, April 23, the Prime Minister, Joseph Dion Ngute, received the South-West Cameroon club at the Immeuble Etoile and spoke with Valentin Nkwain, the staff and Opopo players, although details of the meeting have not been disclosed. The club will take the trophy on tour, visiting Yaoundé and Douala on Wednesday before concluding the celebrations in Buea and Limbé in the Southwest region of Cameroon.
