FECAFOOT President’s letter to the Minister of Sports and Physical Education
FECAFOOT President Samuel Eto’o tells Minister of Sports: “The designation of the members of the technical and administrative management of the men’s national team, as proposed by FECAFOOT during our various discussions, is from our point of view closer to the requirements of FIFA.”
FECAFOOT President Samuel Eto’o has informed the Minister of Sports and Physical Education about FIFA’s observations regarding the appointment of members of the technical and administrative management of the national team. In his letter to the Minister, the President stated that the appointment of the members of the national team’s management structures should remain the sole responsibility of the Executive Committee of FECAFOOT.
The President also mentioned that FECAFOOT’s proposed members of the technical and administrative management of the men’s national team are closer to FIFA’s requirements. FIFA has recommended that FECAFOOT revise the Agreement linking the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education to the Cameroonian Football Federation as soon as possible.
